We’re very flexible. We work around you. Evenings and weekends are an occupational hazard of working in this industry that we’re more than familiar with and are very happy to accommodate. For office moves we work outside of working hours for your convenience. We have been able to do overnight deliveries on occasion where required.

We operate on an hourly basis within central Brighton. We provide quotes for customers with itemised breakdowns when going further afield.

We do not provide a waste removal service.

You must have the original packaging for your tv if you want it to be covered under our goods in transit cover.

We can work around you to get the job done however, please expect your initial quote to be lower than the final bill. Your quote and time taken is worked out with the expectation everything is packed and ready to go. Any packing or dismantling we expect to be notified of at point of booking or before the move at the absolute latest. 

We can provide quotes and estimates for Brighton and Hove City Council relocations however, it's at Brighton and Hove city council's discretion as to which of the quotes they choose to go with (they ask for 3). 
As well as Brighton and Hove City Council, we have also worked for Adur and Worthing Council and West Sussex County Council.

We did our first jobs in 2016 but have been working independently as ESV Removals (formally East Sussex Van) since 2022.

We work within East Sussex, in particular Brighton. For jobs further afield ring and we’ll come up with a tailor-made quote. We've done jobs in France, Wales, Scotland and Republic of Ireland. Peter has an Irish passport which seems to make travelling in the EU a bit more hospitable. 

We can provide you with 1-3 men per van. We'll always recommend what we think, but in the end we work to your specification.

If you think you're contagious with any illness let us know and we can do the move without you present. Likewise we'll do the same. If needed we can work together and arrange different dates or whatever solution is needed to overcome problems relating to illness.

We generally take payment after the job and generate you a digital invoice (to email). Cash is also accepted and monzo payments. We also accept most major cryptocurrencies (at our discretion).

If any of your items are damaged we'll reach a solution between us and you. One option is we replace the item with a similar conditioned item ourselves. The second is our insurance pays out, it covers the secondhand value of the item up to £10,000. Please if you have valuable items tell us before the move so we're aware.

Let us know we can notify our insurers and charge the adjustment on your bill.

We can provide you with a tracker if necessary for long distance. For shorter distance we can also make sure the driver keeps in touch and updates you.
