 I founded ESV Removals Ltd (East Sussex Van) in 2022 after spending six years working in the removals industry. Since then we have helped hundreds of people move across Brighton, Sussex and the UK and from what I can tell from 280+ 5 star Google reviews, they are pretty happy with how we do things.

We are a small, family run removals company and you deal directly with me from quote to moving day. There are no call centres and no being passed around. You have one point of contact who actually turns up on the day and runs your move.

 We are fully insured with £20,000 Goods in Transit cover and £5 million Public Liability insurance, giving you peace of mind during your move.  Why we are a bit different

 We focus on calm, organised moving days with careful loading and proper protection for your belongings. Because we are family run, you speak directly to the person who will run your move and who will be on the van. A large part of our work comes from word of mouth, repeat customers and people who have seen how we work on a friend’s moving day.

 If you need more than just a standard removals service, we can also offer furniture assembly, basic handyman help and snag list support at either end of the move. That might be things like taking doors off and rehanging them, building flat pack wardrobes, or fitting simple shelves so that everything feels settled quickly.

 We also try to be as eco conscious as we realistically can be. Where possible we prioritise Esso Ethos eco diesel alternatives for our vehicles, combine that with steady, sensible driving and plan our routes to cut idling and unnecessary detours. Quotes, bookings and invoices are paperless by default unless you ask otherwise, and we reuse and recycle boxes wherever we can.

Brighton

I am Brighton based and most of our work is local Brighton removals. We regularly cover the full BN postcode area including BN1, BN2, BN3, BN10, BN11, BN12, BN13, BN14 and BN15 as well as the nearby BN postcodes. That means everything from central Brighton and Hove out to coastal towns like Lancing, Worthing, Peacehaven and Newhaven, plus regular trips up and down the A23 and A27.Because we work across these routes every week, we know the parking, loading bays, one way systems and traffic pinch points, which helps to keep moving day calm and on time.

East Sussex

Beyond Brighton and the coast we also help people move around the wider Sussex area. We often work in and around Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Hassocks, as well as the smaller villages between them. Whether you are moving from a flat in Brighton to a house in Burgess Hill, or downsizing from Worthing to a cottage near Hassocks, we can plan the route, manage access and keep things straightforward.

UK

We frequently cover long distance removals all over England, Scotland and Wales. Moves like Brighton to Manchester or East Sussex to Edinburgh are a regular part of our work. We plan the journey carefully, allow for breaks and overnight stops where needed and keep you updated from the first mile to the last so you always know where your belongings are.

Europe

We have completed several five star moves to cities such as Paris and Dublin as well as repeat trips across the UK. If you are planning an international move, just ask. If it is realistic with our vans and schedule we will happily quote, talk through the options and be honest about what is and is not practical.
