Flats With Stairs, Lifts And Shared Entrances
Most city centre moves are flats. Regency conversions often mean narrow stairs and no lift, while newer blocks mean lift bookings and managing agent rules. Tell us your floor level, whether there's a lift and any booking times, and we'll set the crew to suit. Two people is our standard for anything with stairs.
Single Items And Furniture From The Lanes And North Laine
The Lanes are largely pedestrianised and North Laine's streets are narrow and busy, so we can't always pull up outside. We plan the nearest legal stopping point and carry your item the last stretch, protected all the way. Ideal for antique and vintage shop buys.
Seafront And Regency Square Flats
Kings Road and the Regency squares mean tall townhouses, basement flats, steep front steps and heavy seafront traffic. Send us a photo of the frontage before the day and we'll have the van in the right place, not circling the block.
Parking, Permits And Bay Suspensions
Most of central Brighton is permit parking, with loading limits on many streets. Short jobs usually work from the nearest legal loading point. For longer jobs it can be worth booking a parking bay suspension through Brighton & Hove City Council in advance, and we'll tell you if yours needs one.
Bus Lanes And Busy Roads
North Street, Western Road and the roads around the Clock Tower carry bus lanes and bus-only stretches enforced by camera. We plan the route and loading around them, so you're not paying for time spent going round the one way system.
Storage Runs, Shop Pickups And Office Drops
Not every city centre job is a move. We run stock to and from storage, collect from shops and drop furniture into small offices and studios, all charged by the hour with no long contracts or paperwork.

Man And Van, By The Hour
You get a driver, a van and careful handling, charged by the hour from £60 with a two hour minimum. It suits jobs that don't need a full removals crew: a studio or one bed flat, a few pieces of furniture, a storage run, a garage clearance or a single sofa across town. No day rates and no padding. You pay for the time we're working for you.
How It Works
Send us the pickup and drop off postcodes, your date and a rough list of what's moving. We'll match the job to the right van, a Sprinter or a Luton, and tell you how many people it needs. On the day we load carefully, move everything and place it where you want it at the other end. Advance bookings take a deposit to hold the date, which comes off your final bill.
Marketplace Pickups From Facebook, eBay And Gumtree
Bought a sofa, wardrobe or bike and need it collected? Send us both postcodes and the item size, and we'll send the right van and plan a legal stopping point at each end. Check the item fits through your door before we collect. It saves a wasted trip.
