Brighton is about 50 miles from central London via the A23 and M23, and our Burgess Hill base is a little closer. Traffic decides the day more than distance: the A23 through Streatham and Croydon crawls at rush hour, so we aim to be loading in London early and on the M23 before the worst of it, with the unload in Sussex the same day.

Do You Need A Parking Suspension In London?

Often, yes. Every London borough runs its own parking suspensions, with its own notice period and fees, so the rules in Lambeth won't match the rules in Newham. Many main roads are TfL red routes, where a van can only stop in marked loading bays at set times. ULEZ And The Congestion Charge Planned In

Our Luton van is ULEZ compliant, so there's no daily ULEZ charge on your move anywhere in London. The Congestion Charge is separate: it's £18 a day in central London, from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and from midday to 6pm at weekends. If your address is inside the zone, a weekend morning load avoids the charge altogether, and if your date can't move, we'll show the charge in your quote so there are no surprises.
