Why We Put Our Name On Our Van: New Van Branding By BEL Signs In Horsham

Spotted the ESV Removals van? Here’s what’s on the side, who fitted it and how to check any removals company in Sussex before you book. First Published: 23/10/2026

In October 2026, our Ford Transit Luton got a makeover. The plain white van has gone, and in its place are our logo, our name, our website and our phone number, scaled up and fitted by BEL Signs in Horsham. Spotted it on the A23 or outside a neighbour's house and searched for us? You've found the right company. This is ESV Removals Ltd, and here's why we put our name on the side.

At A Glance

What's on the van: Our logo, ESV Removals Ltd, eastsussexvan.com and 07552 555 820, on the side of our Ford Transit Luton since October 2026. Our Mercedes Sprinter is next.

Who did it: BEL Signs in Horsham, a local, independent signmaker with five star reviews of its own, scaled up our design and fitted it in a day.

Why it matters: You can check every detail on the side before you book, from our hundreds of five star Google reviews to our £40,000 Goods in Transit per vehicle and £5 million Public Liability. Call 07552 555 820, send your move details on WhatsApp or follow real move days on Instagram.

A White Van Could Belong To Anyone

A plain white van tells you nothing. It could belong to a removals company, a hire firm or someone who put an ad up last night. If something gets broken, or the crew doesn't turn up, you have no name to look up and nobody to hold to account.

We think that's part of the appeal of an unmarked van for a rogue trader: there's nothing to trace. A van with a name on it works the other way. It's a promise you can check before you book, from a company you can still find after the job's done.

What's On The Side Of Our Van

Every detail on the side of our Luton is there so you can look us up.

Our logo: The same one on our crew T-shirts, our website and our Instagram, @esvremovals, so you'll know it's us wherever you see it.

ESV Removals Ltd: Our registered company name, listed on Companies House. Search "ESV Removals" and we're the top result on Google.

eastsussexvan.com: How we price, what we're insured for and case studies from real moves, all in one place. ESV stands for East Sussex Van, so if you know us by that name, we're the same company.

07552 555 820: The same number you'll find on our website and our Google profile, so you can check it before you call.

Why We Chose BEL Signs In Horsham

We wanted a local, independent business with five star reviews, because that's what we are: a family run Sussex removals company. BEL Signs, at The Sign Centre on Blatchford Road, Horsham, ticked every box.

We didn't want a new look. The design on the van is the one on our T-shirts and website, so you'll recognise us wherever you see us. BEL Signs scaled it up for the side of a Luton and added their know-how to make it work on a van as well as it does on a shirt. The whole fit took one day.

We already work right across Sussex, including house moves in Horsham, so keeping the job local made sense.

How To Check The Company Behind The Van

Whoever you book, a few minutes of checking can save you a bad moving day. Here's what to look for in any removals company in Sussex, and where to find it for us. For all eight checks, read how to choose a removal company in Brighton.

Reviews: Look for plenty of recent Google reviews, not a handful of quotes on the company's own website. We have hundreds of five star Google reviews, and you can read a selection in our Brighton removals company reviews round-up.

Local Pro Tip: Look for Top Ratings on More Than One Site

One good score can be luck. Top ratings across several review sites are much harder to earn, because each site collects its reviews separately. Check Google first, then look the company up on Checkatrade, Yell.com, Facebook and RatedRemovals before you book. We hold top ratings on Google, Checkatrade, Facebook, Yell.com and RatedRemovals, so you can check every one.

Insurance: Ask what the cover is, and get it in writing. We carry £40,000 Goods in Transit per vehicle and £5 million Public Liability. Here's how Goods in Transit insurance for removals works, and why we upgraded ours.

A real company: Every limited company is listed on Companies House, and searching it is free. Check that the name on the van matches a registered company with a website and an address. Ours is ESV Removals Ltd, a removal company based in Burgess Hill.

Quotes in writing: Get more than one written quote and compare them like for like: the same date, the same items and the same insurance cover. A good quote spells out what's included, so you know what you're paying for before moving day.

Always obtain at least three quotes in writing from reputable traders.

Spot Us On Moving Day

Now the Luton carries our name, you'll start to see it around Sussex: on the A23, parked up for house removals in Brighton and Hove, or loading up in Burgess Hill, where we're based. Follow real move days on Instagram to see where it's been.

Local Pro Tip: Book the Parking Before the Van

A branded van only helps if it can park outside your door. In Brighton & Hove, a parking suspension for a house move needs seven full working days' notice, and your application has to reach Brighton & Hove City Council by 2pm. Tell us your road when you book, and we'll talk you through the simplest option.

Our Mercedes Sprinter is next for the same van branding, so soon both vans will carry our name. The two already work side by side on bigger jobs, like a two van house move across Burgess Hill. A good-looking van is only half the job, though. Here's how our removal vans keep your move safe and on time, from maintenance to safety.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Branded Van

Is the van with ESV Removals Ltd on the side yours?

Yes. If the van shows our logo, ESV Removals Ltd, eastsussexvan.com and 07552 555 820, it's ours. Our Ford Transit Luton has carried our new van branding since October 2026, and our Mercedes Sprinter is next.

If you're not sure, check the details on the side against our website and our Google profile. They all match. You can also follow real move days on Instagram to see where the van has been working.

How can I tell if a removals van is from a genuine company?

Check that the name, phone number and website on the van match a real, registered company. Search the name on Companies House, then check the number and website against the company's Google profile and reviews. An unmarked van gives you nothing to check and no trail to follow if something goes wrong.

You can run the same checks on us before you book. We carry £40,000 Goods in Transit per vehicle and £5 million Public Liability, backed by hundreds of five star Google reviews.

Who fitted the branding on the ESV Removals van?

BEL Signs, a local, independent signmaker at The Sign Centre on Blatchford Road, Horsham, produced and fitted the van branding. The design is our own, from our T-shirts and website, and BEL Signs scaled it up for the side of our Luton and added their know-how.

The whole fit took one day. We chose BEL Signs because, like us, they're a local, independent Sussex business with five star reviews.

Will the ESV Removals Sprinter get the same branding?

Yes. Our Mercedes Sprinter is next, so both vans will carry our name. It will have the same design as the Luton, so you'll recognise either van on moving day.

Until then, the Sprinter keeps working alongside the Luton on bigger moves. For jobs bigger than both vans, we bring in extra fully insured vans from local rental companies, and our Goods in Transit cover of up to £40,000 protects your belongings in those vans too.

Is ESV Removals a registered company?

Yes. ESV Removals Ltd is a private limited company registered on Companies House, company number 16168225, incorporated on 7 January 2025. We're a family run removals company based at 22 Old School Place, Burgess Hill, RH15 9JU, working across Brighton, Hove and Sussex.

Peter Hawes, our director, has worked in removals since 2019 and has run his own vans since 2022, before setting up ESV Removals Ltd in 2025.
